Weekend Storms Leave Sinkhole in Vineland

VINELAND, N.J. -

The weekend storms in Cumberland County caused a few headaches in Vineland after what appeared to be a sinkhole opened up, causing a section of Panther Road to collapse.

The heavy rains and flooding on Friday, July 28th, and Saturday, July 29th, added to the already soaked soil from rain earlier in the week.

Crews were working to repair the damage on Monday, July 31st.

Panther Road will remain closed to the public until officials can finish the roadway repairs.
