The borough of Glassboro held a ceremony on Wednesday, July 26th, to honor its military veterans.

Local officials, students with the Glassboro Junior Police Academy, and leaders from various veterans associations gathered at the Glassboro Town Square to unveil five new commemorative service plaques representing each branch in the United States military.

The plaques were dedicated to all the men and women of Glassboro who served their country as a way to thank them for the sacrifices they've made.

Officials said the plaques are a great addition to the Town Square and hope everyone in the area will come out to see them.
