Nor’easter Nick, Brigantine Clean Communities Host Beach Cleanup

BRIGANTINE, N.J. -

SNJ Today's own Nor’easter Nick hosted dozens of people at the Jersey Shore this weekend to help out in keeping our beaches pristine.

Nick, along with the group Brigantine Clean Communities, hosted a beach cleanup on Saturday, July, 15th.

Their goal was to clean up Brigantine's 4-wheeler beach, also known to locals as the Cove.

Dozens of community members, young and old, helped out by picking up litter along the shore.

Officials with Brigantine Clean Communities say that while fines are issued to anyone who leaves trash behind on the town's beaches, they often host cleanups like this to help keep the beaches clean.
