Millville Police Investigate Pair of Shootings

Millville Police are investigating two shootings that occurred on Sunday, July 16th, and Monday, July 17th, respectively.

Police say the first shooting happened on Sunday, July 16th, around 4:45 p.m. on the 500 block of East Oak Street. Officers arrived to the scene only to find six shell casings before receiving a call that a 20-year-old man was taken to the hospital by a third party with two gunshot wounds that had grazed his neck.

He was treated and released from the hospital in stable condition.

The second shooting occurred around 2:50 a.m. on Monday, July 17th, on the 300 block of E Street, where police were called for reports of multiple sounds of gun shots. No victims were reported in that incident.
