Amazon, Coca Cola and Others Want to Hire Disabled Citizens in Gloucester County

Gloucester County is doing its part to make sure everyone in the area has equal opportunities, including its disabled residents.

On Friday, July 14th, the county held its annual Disability Employment Job Fair and Resource Event in Clayton to help people living with disabilities find new job opportunities and explore all the options that are out their for them.

Officials said events like these are important and make a positive impact on the lives of people who are disabled and their families. 

"I've had people in my family with developmental issues in their lives," said James N. Hogan, county clerk of Gloucester County. "I know that if you give people a chance and are able to work with them that it can have positive results."

Those who attended the job fair got to talk to representatives from various companies looking for possible employees, including Amazon, Coca Cola, Comcast, and the Arc of Gloucester.
