STRATFORD, N.J. -

A local health network is doing its part to help preserve history in South Jersey.

On Thursday, July 13th, Kennedy Health officials announced a donation of $5,000 to the Stratford Historical Preservation Commission. The donation will go towards making renovations to the historic Quaker Store in Stratford, which dates back to 1850.

Over the years, weather has damaged the pre-Civil War building. Thanks to Kennedy Health, the piece of history will get a fresh coat of paint, new window frames and floorboards, and a few other updates so it can continue to live on for years to come.
