Hammonton Airport Receives Federal Grant to Upgrade Facility

On Wednesday, July 12th, Congressman Frank LoBiondo (R-NJ, 2nd District) announced that a local airport will be receiving a federal grant so upgrades can be made to the facility.

The Federal Aviation Administration's Airport Improvement Program awarded the Hammonton Municipal Airport with a grant totaling more than $210,000 to update the airport's master plan, which will allow officials there to improve and modernize the facility.

Improvements include enhancing airport safety, addressing environmental concerns, and maintaining runways and taxiways.
