New Help for Small Businesses in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -

The New Jersey Economic Authority has created two new programs designed to help small businesses in Atlantic City.

The first program, the Business Lease Incentive, will offer reimbursement of a percentage of a small business' annual lease payments for two years.

The other program, called the Business Improvement Incentive, will offer grants of less than $20,000 to businesses to make building improvements.

Both programs are available to designated commercial areas of the Garden State Growth Zones, which include Atlantic City and Camden.

Officials hope local business owners will take advantage of the new opportunities and that the programs will drive economic momentum and job creation.
