CAMDEN, N.J. -

It was all about going green in Camden as the city held its annual environmental summit.

On Wednesday, June 14th, the Camden Collaborative Initiative (CCI) hosted the 5th annual Camden Environmental Summit at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.

The event, formerly known as the Camden Smart Forum welcomed more than 200 local environmental leaders and stakeholders to share the best practices used in environmental leadership.

Representatives from the Untied States Environmental Protection Agency addressed the crowd, and Mayor Dana Redd gave her 2017 Sustainability Address.

Those in attendance met a few young residents who are making a difference in their city, as well as learning more about Camden's efforts to improve the quality of life of the city through sustainable energy.
