ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -

Police in Atlantic City are getting ready to dish out lots of tickets this summer, but not for what you think.

The Atlantic City Police Department will be participating in 7-Eleven's 22nd annual Operation Chill program this summer.

Police will be giving out tickets to kids all over the city who perform good deeds or exhibit positive behavior.

The tickets will be good for a free small Slurpee and can be earned in many ways including wearing a bicycle helmet, helping a friend, or picking up safe litter.

Operation Chill is a national program that began in 1995 as a way to reduce crime and enhance relationships in communities. Since it began the program has issued more than 19 million tickets.
