Camden Receives Funding to Redevelop Brownfields

The City of Camden has received funding to clean up contaminated properties within its borders.

New Jersey State Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker, Congressman Donald Norcross, and Camden Mayor Dana Redd announced on Wednesday, May 31st, that the Environmental Protection Agency is awarding Camden with $750,000 to assess, clean, and redevelop Brownfields.

Officials say the investment is just another positive step in helping communities in Camden continue to thrive.
