One Dead in Camden Shooting, Police Search for Answers

Police are looking for answers in the shooting death of a man on the night of Wednesday, May 17th, in Camden.

It was shortly before 7:30 p.m. when a 911 call brought the Camden County Police Department to the area of the 1300 Block of Carl Miller Boulevard.

When police arrived, they found 30-year-old Edward Whittle who had been shot multiple times. The Camden man was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he later died.
