Extreme Fire Hazard: Kerosene Mixed with Gasoline at Lower Riggins Station

Police in Cape May Court House are trying to locate anyone who purchased kerosene from the Riggins gas station on Route 9 after it was discovered that gasoline was accidentally mixed into a kerosene tank.

The deadly mixture poses an extreme fire hazard especially in kerosene heaters and should not be used.

Anyone who may have purchased kerosene from the gas station (at 401 Rt. 9 South) between April 24th and May 10th are asked to call their local police department immediately.

The Riggins station is also requesting anyone with the mixture to return it to the station, and if that is not possible to call the main office at 856-825-7600.
