Wildwood Dog Beach to Reopen in June

WILDWOOD, N.J. -

The Wildwood Dog Beach officially has a new place to call home after being closed temporarily earlier this month.

City Commissioner Pete Byron says the popular attraction will move a few blocks down from its original location, to Glenwood Avenue and Maple Avenue in Wildwood.

A rendering is expected in the coming weeks on what Byron is calling a "cooler and better" dog beach. The grand opening is set for the middle of June.

Byron says he hopes the new location and set up will take the dog beach from second in the nation to first.
