CLAYTON, N.J. -

Two New Jersey high school seniors are being honored for their traffic-safety related work.

AAA South Jersey will be presenting high school seniors Ben Kellum and Karly Rybacki with cash prizes for their submissions to contests sponsored by the organization.

On Monday, May 8th, Kellum, who attends Clayton High School, received his award of $1,300 for winning the traffic safety poster and video contest. His video beat out every entry in the state and it was a project he says wasn't easy.

"It was a long time," said Kellum. "I put a lot of work into it video editing, writing, just getting everybody together to collaborate on it. It's a good thing to get across — like a good message to show the world."

Kellum's video was a PSA highlighting the dangers of distracted driving.

Karly Rybacki from Paul VI High School will receive her award of $2,500 on Tuesday for winning the AAA Scholarship Essay Contest.
