Longest Running Science Fair in South Jersey Marks 36th YearLast Edited:
Students from Camden, Gloucester, and Burlington counties spent Saturday, March 18th, at the Camden County College competing in the Coriell Institute for Medical Research Science Fair.
The event featured the Chromatin Challenge, which asked students to explore the sequence of DNA. Students were given a string representing a DNA sequence and had to think creatively to fit it in a small capsule representing chromatin.
This is the 36th year for the Coriell Science Fair, which officials say is the longest running fair of its kind in South Jersey. Students can win prizes and scholarships for their work, and may also advance to the Delaware Valley Regional Science Fair.
