GLASSBORO, N.J. -

Students at Rowan University had fun while helping each other at a Stuff The Bus event.

On Monday, March 20th, the gong rang out with each donation as members of Rowan's Student Government Association (SGA) held their first Stuff The Bus event to help stock "The Shop" at Rowan.

"The Shop" is Rowan's first campus resource center to provide college students in need with canned goods, non-perishables, and toiletries.

"The objective is to eliminate food insecurity on our campus," said Rowan University student Rbrey Singleton. "The SGA collected over a thousand signatures of students supporting this project and we allocated 30-thousand dollars to this project and our hope is that there is not another day in the history of Rowan University where a Rowan University student goes hungry."

The Shop will open for the first time on Thursday, March 23rd, at 12:30 p.m. in the Rowan Boulevard apartments.
