EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. -

Businesses who are looking for the perfect employees were able to have their needs heard on Monday, March 20th, thanks to the Retail, Hospitality, and Tourism Talent Network, or RHT Network.

The group gathered employers, educators, and workforce development professionals for the Coastal Targeted Industry Partnership Event at the Harbor Pines Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township. The network, which is funded by a grant from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, focused on hiring trends, workforce talent gaps, and needed skills.

"We're delighted to be part of this effort because it's progressive and it's real evolutionary in this area," said Stephanie Kock, senior vice president of JEVS Human Services. "Anything that can help with job growth and the local economy is something to be part of."

The RHT Network meets quarterly and shares best industry practices and focuses on connecting the people with the training they need to get jobs in the retail, hospitality, and tourism industry.
