Hometown Heroes 2017: Rossini Salerno

Last Edited:

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.J. – Rossini Salerno, as administrative assistant to the superintendent of schools for Vineland, is one of those diligent people who work behind the scenes to ensure the people she works for are successful in meeting their goals. She participates in innumerable projects including Family Night Out, Trunk or Treat, Christmas programs, and Read Across America.

She’s a volunteer mentor at Petway School.

Rossini, in her nominator’s broad admiration, “is an inspiration to all staff and shares much love for our students.”

In addition to the many school and community events and projects she helps with, Rossini is an avid photographer and often gives gift certificates to the Safety Patrol Raffle and other worthy causes.

Her nominator says, “She gives so much and never expects any recognition.”

And we are happy to provide some.
