Hometown Heroes 2017: Naomi Jones

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.J. – Naomi Jones, by the time she was four years old, was already donating her time in service to others. She has collected items for Haitian children, participated in community events against violence, and helped food and clothing drives for local charities.

When she was seven, a trip to New York City exposed her to the devastation of homelessness. So back in Bridgeton she started her own business “Making an Impact, Moving to Inspire” (M.I.M.I. Group LLC). It gives acting coaching to young people and exposes them to creative arts through workshops and theater camps.

Naomi is an actress, singer, dancer, and director and has spoken on national and international broadcasts encouraging children and teens to pursue their dreams and help forge a more just society.

She is also a national spokesperson for C.U.B.S. Rising, a book about 50 up-and-coming young leaders. So, at age 10, she is a spectacularly active Hometown Hero.
