WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. - The candle will burn from both ends for junior and senior council members at Washington Township High School (WTHS) for the 18th Annual “Township Toys 24 at the Core” drive.

Starting at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 8th, members will join at the front of the WTHS Core entrance to collect new and unwrapped toys for area children in an effort to spread some holiday cheer. The drive will wrap at 1:30 p.m. the following afternoon.

Even Santa, himself, has agreed to swing by in his sleigh to witness the festivities. He will be available for photo-ops from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on December 8th in the WTHS Core lobby.

Expect to see many tents and sleeping bags, as students will work through the night to support the drive and bring attention to a very generous cause.

Advisors for the senior class, Marty Bouchard and Mike Hudock, are managing the drive along Junior Class Advisor, Carol Costello.

Washington Township High School is located at 519 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road in Sewell. Monetary donations will also be collected.
