Supporting Strong Women in Salem County

SALEM, N.J - In honoring the many women who challenge themselves and pave progressive pathways, the Salem County Commission on Women (SCCW) is seeking worthy recipients for the 2017 Women of Achievement Award.

American novelist and social activist, Marge Piercy, once said, “A strong woman is a woman determined to do something others are determined not be done.”

The SCCW wishes to recognize all the deserving women who make Salem County shine. Mothers, sisters, daughters, friends—doctors, teachers, veterans. All are encouraged to be nominated. Contenders must be residents of Salem County, have made contributions in service to the community, and emulate positive change in the lives of others.

The award will be presented at the Centerton Country Club on April 1st, 2017 at the annual Women of Achievement Award brunch. All nominees must be submitted not later than January 5th, 2017.
