Santa Claus will be making stops all over South Jersey before Christmas. In every county, he will be helping with tree lighting ceremonies, riding on floats in parades, or taking photos with children.

Families can enjoy the holiday festivities with Santa as he helps South Jersey boost its holiday spirit. Free events will feature everything from carolers to cookies for the entire family. Find your community holiday event below.

Atlantic County

Santa’s Wonderland

Enjoy a singalong, a light and sound show, and performances featuring Santa. Coffee, hot chocolate and cookies will be provided.


City of Absecon Tree Lighting Ceremony

             Mon., Dec 5, 5-6 p.m.

             Clock Plaza on New Jersey Ave., Absecon

Celebrate with carolers, holiday music, and handmade ornaments from local schools. Santa arrives at 5:45 p.m.


Camden County

Barrington Tree Lighting and Fire Truck Parade

                  Fri., Nov. 25, 6:30 p.m.

                  Municipal Building, 229 Trenton Ave, Barrington

Enjoy a tree lighting ceremony followed by Santa’s arrival in a fire truck. Visits with Santa take place at the fire station after the parade. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.


Haddonfield Tree Lighting and Santa Parade

                  Fri., Nov. 25, 6:30 p.m.

                  Haddonfield Public Library, 60 N Haddon Ave, Haddonfield

Following presentations by the mayor, distinguished guests, and the Haddonfield High School singers & marching band, Santa Claus will lead hundreds of excited kids into town.


Collingswood Tree Lighting and Parade

                  Fri., Nov. 25, 7-8 p.m. for ceremony, Sat., Nov. 26, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. for parade

                  Borough Hall, Collingswood, 678, Haddon Ave, Collingswood

Santa will descend from atop Borough Hall by way of the Collingswood Fire Department’s ladder truck – just in time for the Borough’s official Tree Lighting Ceremony. Choral groups will sing as the town tree is lit up with twinkling lights and season’s greetings are made by Mayor Jim Maley and Commissioners Joan Leonard and Mike Hall. The parade will begin at Zane Avenue at 10 am and continue to West Linden Avenue.



Stratford’s Santa Visit & Tree Lighting

                  Fri., Dec. 2, 6 p.m.

                  Stratford Library, 301 Union Ave., Stratford

Santa will visit the library at 6 p.m., before the tree lighting ceremony at 7:45 p.m. at War Memorial Park. A cookie decorating contest with refreshments will follow.


Magnolia Holiday Tree Lighting

                  Fri., Dec. 2, 7 p.m.

                  Albertson Memorial Park, Magnolia

                  The Magnolia Fire Company will bring Santa Claus to greet children in the park gazebo on                  a vintage firetruck.  Light refreshments will be served.                 


Bellmawr Christmas in the Park

                  Dec. 2, 3, 4, 9, and 10, 6-9 p.m.

                  Bellmawr Rec Center, 21 E Browning Rd., Bellmawr

Enjoy free sleigh rides in the park, cookies, hot chocolate, pony rides, stockings, balloons, and gifts from Santa.


Santa Cares

Santa Cares is a sensory-friendly opportunity for children with special needs to enjoy the time-honored tradition of the Santa experience with their family. Visit with Santa is free, but photo packages cost $25.


Pine Hill Christmas Parade

                  Sun., Dec 4, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

                  Veterans Memorial Park, Chews Landing Rd, Gloucester Township, NJ

After a parade of firetrucks and floats, watch Santa light the Christmas tree at the park. Light refreshments and an award ceremony will follow at Pine Hill Fire Station.


Gibbsboro Tree Lighting

                  Tues., Dec. 6, 7-8 p.m.

                  Lucas Park, Lucas Blvd., Gibbsboro

                  After Santa’s arrival, hot chocolate and cookies will be served at Gibbsboro Elementary School.


Collingswood Parade of Lights

                  Fri., Dec. 9, 7:30-9 p.m.

                   W Zane Ave., Collingswood

Firetrucks and floats strung with lights will drive from Zane to Homestead Ave. Santa will follow on the last truck.


Cape May County

Sea Isle Holiday Extravaganza

The parade starts at 1 p.m. down Kings Highway. Santa will appear at the end of the parade. Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit with children in the Woolwich Fire House until 4 p.m. The events will wrap up at 6:30 with a tree lighting and caroling at Borough Hall.


Harrison Township’s Lights on the Main
