VIDEO: Atlantic County Animal Shelter Hosts Clear the Shelter Adopt-A-Thon

PLEASANTVILLE - This Saturday, August 15th, the Atlantic County Animal Shelter, along with 30 other shelters in the area, will be participating in a "Clear the Shelter" event.
“The adoption fees are being waved," said Kathy Kelsey, Manager of Atlantic County Animal Shelter. "We’re not charging a fee for adoption, and we’re still providing the same services we would be providing any other time of the year. And that includes all the animals being up to date on their vaccinations, already spayed or neutered, there’s a microchip included, and we also give a free consultation and physical exam at the participating veterinarians of atlantic county – and that is all included on saturday as well.”
Paperwork must be approved prior to the event.
The "Clear the Shelter" event will take place at the Atlantic County Animal Shelter, 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
