Glassboros Annual Cruise Nite Car Show to Feature Over 300 Cars

GLASSBORO—Labor Day weekend kicks off on Downtown Glassboro’s Rowan Boulevard with food, music, and more than 300 cars at the Cruise Nite Car Show.
The Borough of Glassboro presents the 11th Annual event on Friday, September 4 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Attendance is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the Rowan Boulevard parking garage and throughout downtown.
Revolve, a Beatles-inspired rock and oldies band, will put on a live performance at 6:00 p.m.
Cruise Nite will feature menu items from local Glassboro eateries including Ciconte’s Pizza, Little Beefs, and Think Greek Grille. Styke’s Station will handle the hot dogs and lemonade, while Carolina Blue will offer dinner choices. Gourmet Popcorn, Aunt Martha’s Funnel Cakes, and Tony’s Tasty Treats will have novelty food items. Glassboro’s Landmark Americana will be serving beer and wine.
Rowan’s Student University Programmers (SUP) will man a kids’ pit stop. Children can also burn off extra energy in velcro races, while parents can shop the artisan vendors.
A total of 19 trophies--including the Mayor’s Choice Award--will be presented to the best of the best participants beginning at 8:30 p.m.
