Local Teen to Compete in P&G Gymnastics Championships

WILLIAMSTOWN - 15-year-old Margzetta Frazier will be representing South Jersey this Thursday at the P&G Gymnastics Championships in Indianapolis, where she will compete against other gymnasts for a spot on the US Junior National Team.
The group of women selected for Junior and Senior US National Teams leads up to the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Frazier will compete in the floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam, and vault on Thursday, August 13th and again on Saturday, August 15th. She trains under the direction of coach, Joe Catrambone, at Atlantic Coast Gymnastics in Williamstown, NJ – the very same gym she started in at the age of two.
Most recently, Frazier competed at the 2015 American Classic in Huntsville, TX, at Karolyi’s camp.  She finished fifth all-around and came in first on the floor exercise and vault out of 24 elite gymnasts.
