NHL All-Star Johnny Guadreau to be Inducted into All Sports Museum of Southern New Jersey
CARNEY'S POINT - Johnny Guadreau, a native of Carney’s Point and current member of the Calgary Flames, will be inducted into The All Sports Museum of Southern New Jersey on Wednesday, August 11th at 6:30 PM. Guadreau, known as “Johnny Hockey," was selected 104th in the 4th round of the 2011 National Hockey League Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames. With marked improvement each season, Johnny was selected to play in the 2015 NHL All-Star game. This past NHL season, “Johnny Hockey” played in 80 games and 11 games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He was also voted one of the top three candidates for the 2015 Calder Memorial Trophy, NHL Rookie of the Year.
