The Millville Development CorporationAwarded Over $60,000 in Grants

MILLVILLE - The Millville Development Corporation announced that the non-profit corporation has been awarded two program and operational grants.
The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation of Morristown awarded the organization $40,000 towards its operating budget, creation, and promotion of public and collaborative art programs with other non-profit or educational entities.
Additionally, the NJ State Council on the Arts announced they awarded the Millville Development Corporation $28,496 for general program support.
The corporation manages the Glasstown Arts District.  The board of directors, committees, and executive director work on economic development, events, public relations, promotions, art education, and a wide range of public art projects.
“The grants are the life-blood of the organization.  The Dodge Foundation and NJ State Council on the Arts have been supporting the efforts of the arts and the downtown revitalization efforts for several years,” said Marianne Lods, Executive Director. “We thank them for their confidence in us.”
