OBSP Announces The Normal Heart

MILLVILLE - The Off Broad Street Players are looking ahead to their next production, announcinghe cast of Larry Kramer’s The Normal Heart, which the group will present at its second stage, the Glassworks in Millville, from Friday, September 18th through Sunday, the 20th.
OBSP veteran John Weiner returns as Ned Weeks, the nearly autobiographical character Kramer uses to anchor the drama of the earliest days of the AIDS epidemic in New York City. Nick Chryssomitis returns as Felix, Hank Chandless makes his OBSP debut as Ben, and veteran Phil Hopf is Mickey. Long-time OBSP member Jason D. Smith portrays Tommy, Timothy Koob joins the group as Bruce, and Stacie DeLise returns to the group as Dr. Emma Brookner. Newcomer Meighan Hogate III is Craig/Grady/Orderly, and Tim Zoyac returns as David/Hiram/Examining Doctor/Orderly.
Directed by OBSP founder and artistic director Walter A. Webster, The Normal Heart will be held on Friday, September 18th, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, September 19th, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, September 20th, at 3 p.m. All performances will be held on the stage at the Glassworks in Millville, 1101 Wheaton Avenue, Millville, NJ.
