VIDEO: New Officers Sworn into Atlantic City Police Department

ATLANTIC CITY - The Atlantic City Police Department will be adding a few new faces to their staff after swearing in three officers this afternoon.
“This is a really good day for us. You’re coming on board at a very exciting time," said Henry White, Chief of Police, Atlantic City. "Atlantic City is on the move again.  And you guys are clearly going to be a part of that.  All three of you are here as Class II officers, but after you swear yourselves in now, you’re truly a part of our family, part of the PBA Local 24.”
Thomas McCabe, Christopher Dodson, and Jonathon Walsh will join the South Jersey Police force this week.
“Nothing happier than bringing on three new police officers to Atlantic City,” said Atlantic City Mayor Donald Guardian.“ As Mayor, I’m so proud as what our police force does.”
Members of the force said that they are excited to be a part of the new chapter of Atlantic City.
“We look forward to having you guys, we’ve got a busy summer ahead of us,” said William Mazur, Deputy Chief, Atlantic City.
