Former Millville Superintendent Selected as Interim President for Cumberland County College

MILLVILLE - Dr. Shelly Schneider, former Millville Public Schools Superintendent, has been selected by the Board of Trustees for Cumberland County College as the interim president, to replace Dr. Thomas Isekenegbe.
With 40 years of experience in education, Schneider was superintendent of Millville Public Schools from 2004 to 2010. She was also an interim assistant superintendent for Vineland Public Schools in 2012 and interim superintendent for Commercial Township Public Schools. At the college level, Schneider has taught at Rowan University as an adjunct professor and served as a supervisor for clinical practice candidates.
A lifelong resident of Cumberland County, Schneider serves on the Board of Directors of Inspira Health System and is on the advisory Board of Leadership Cumberland County. This past year she was also inducted into the Cumberland County Women’s Hall of Fame.
Schneider's contract calls for her to begin work August 1st and conclude on July 31, 2016.
Upon stepping down at CCC, Dr. Thomas Isekenegbe will become the president of New York's Bronx Community College in August.
