Vineland Resident Awarded Scholarship by the Credit Union

VINELAND - Grace Carpenter, of Vineland and a recent Arthur P. Schalick High School graduate, was awarded New Jersey Credit Union League Youth Involvement Board’s Annual Scholarship.
Carpenter was received the $1,000 award by Bay Atlantic Federal Credit Union’s Chief Executive Officer and President Gail Marino.
During her four years at Schalick High School, Carpenter was a four year varsity tennis player and has been involved in many community and school activities. She has also been recognized for her art accomplishments including a completed wall design at the Salem County Vocational School and, most recently, winning the Best in Show award at Mannington Mills 13th Annual Art is Cool program.
Carpenter is a third generation member of the local credit union. She is the daughter of Bob and Terry Carpenter and is currently attending the Rizzieri Aveda School in Voorhees.
