MILLVILLE - Millville’s own Mike Trout was named the All-Star Game’s MVP for the second year in a row. He helped lead the American League in a 6 to 3 victory over the National League in last night’s game held in Cincinnati. Trout started the game with a leadoff home run. Overall, he went one for three with a rbi and two runs scored. Trout is the first back to back All-Star MVP winner in the history of the game. However, he is only the fifth player to win two or more MVPs in the game, joining greats like Cal Ripken, Jr., Willie Mays, Gary Carter, and Steve Garvey.
