VIDEO: The Cumberland County Technical Education Center Hosts Law Enforcement Rodeo

BRIDGETON - The Cumberland County Technical Education Center recently held its Second Law Enforcement Rodeo.
Area Police Departments and the New Jersey State Police were on hand for a number of demonstrations including weapons, drones, and police K-9. New Jersey State Police Superintendent, Colonel Rick Fuentes also stopped by to speak to students in the CCTEC Law Enforcement Two Program.
“These students right here know they want to go into criminal justice, and that’s great. So I can talk to them specifically about, what are the opportunities in state law enforcement, what are the opportunities in local law enforcement," said Colonel Rick Fuentes, Superintendent, NJ State Police. "We have the chief here from Millville, the chief here from Bridgeton, and so they get a chance to talk about law enforcement at different levels. So it really is a great time when you get the opportunity to talk to those people that are going to be, really the legacy of the State Police.”
The goal of the event was to bring students interested in a law enforcement career, up close and personal with area police officers.
