Chestnut Ridge Middle School Takes a Stand Against Bullying

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - The students and staff of Chestnut Ridge Middle School stood up against bullying.
During the overview, the middle school presenters wore red “TWP Tuesday” t-shirts which were funded through a Washington Township Education Foundation Grant.
The focus was an overview of the Olweus Anti-Bullying program, a District-wide anti-bullying initiative developed by the Board of Education. The District is using every other Tuesday throughout the school year to focus on the project, which is supported by more than 30 years of research. The project aims to help schools in creating a positive school culture and climate.
