VIDEO: Atlantic City Arts Foundation Hosting "Chalk About AC" This Weekend

ATLANTIC CITY - The Atlantic City Arts Foundation is hosting Chalk about AC on Saturday, October 17th, but local chalk artists are already preparing their masterpieces.
Teams are signed up to create chalk drawings throughout the city based on three themes - hope and happiness, positive locations in the city, and repair and redevelopment.
“It’s highlighting other things besides the negative things we hear about Atlantic City, we draw positive stories about Atlantic City, and we highlight some of them," said Nick Palmisano, Atlantic City Arts Foundation Board Member. "So some of the great developments going on, we’ll color them in chalk, we’ll make them look even better.”
“I'm going to be the creative lead on Saturday, and I'm looking forward to doing more drawings, and the weather’s going to be great, so we’re going to be doing positive things in every ward," said artist Valeria Marcus. "We have six wards in Atlantic City, and we’re going to do something positive in every ward to bring Atlantic City up.”
Those who are interested in taking part of the event can email the Atlantic City Arts Foundation at
