The United Way to Host Halloween Bone Run and Walk

CUMBERLAND COUNTY - The United Way will be hosting the Halloween Bone Run and Walk on Saturday, October 24th at Parvin State Park on 701 Almond Road. Registration for the event begins at 7:00 a.m. with a 5K run or one to three mile walk  beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Registration for runners will cost $25 in advance or $30 day of while walkers donate $20. Team registration costs $20 per participant and must have a minimum of ten runners for the first team. Additional teams are permitted with a maximum of ten runners per team.
Runners may pick up their packages in advance on Friday, October 23rd at the Inspira Health Network Fitness Connection from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. with additional hours from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Cash prizes of $300, $250, $175, $150, and $100 will be awarded to the top five overall male and female finishers.
Each runner registered will receive a long-sleeved technical shirt and the event will include post-race refreshments, a free gear check, and a costume contest with prizes for winners. Awards will also be presented to the top three male and female finishers in several categories, including 14 and Under, 15 to 16, 17 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Additionally, prizes will be provided to each member of the winning Team Challenge team.
