VIDEO: The Fight for the Dunes Continues in Margate

MARGATE - The fight over dunes along the Jersey Shore continues, as the Christie Administration has gone to court to seize dozens of public and privately owned beach properties.
The State Attorney General's Office and the Department of Environmental Protection acted Thursday, October 8th, less than a week after Governor Chris Christie called Margate "among the most selfish people in the state of New Jersey" for refusing to allow the dunes to be built.
Residents of Margate say the town's wooden bulkheads are sufficient enough to protect against ocean flooding and that most of the damage from Superstorm Sandy in 2012 came from the bay on the other side of town.
Margate officials say they've been ready to negotiate, but the state's offering price was too low.
