Wedgewood Elementary School Attends Volume Olympics

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – Wedgewood Elementary School fifth-grade math students recently took part in the “Volume Olympics.”
The “Volume Olympics” required students to represent various countries as they worked in teams and applied their knowledge of volume. The students completed several events such as measuring boxes of cereal, tissue, and oatmeal to find the volume and building prisms using connecting cubes to equal a given volume.
Bronze prize winners include Angelina Post as well as Karly VanMeter.
