Cumberland County Technical Education Center Construction Remains On Schedule

MILLVILLE – The construction on Cumberland County Technical Education Center, New Jersey’s newest career and technical education high school, remains on schedule to open fall of next year.
The $70 million project will include a 200,000 square foot facility, adjacent to Cumberland County College, as well as the county’s new Workforce Development Center. This is the Cumberland County Improvement Authorities (CCIA) largest construction management project to date. The “Economic Development Triangle” is planned to ensure a highly-skilled workforce to support the growth of businesses in the area.
“All of the new construction projects, along with the acquisition and renovation of the other facilities, brings the CCIA’s construction management total to more than $100 million,” said Gerard Velazquez, CCIA Executive Director.
