The Boys and Girls Club of Vineland Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

VINELAND – The Boys and Girls Club held a Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration recently, at the Carl Arthur Recreation Center, to highlight the importance of Hispanic Americans to the United States.
The event, which featured presentations by club members on well-known Hispanics, is part of the club’s Latino Outreach Initiative.
Entertainment for the event included a cultural dance by queens and princesses of the 2015 Puerto Rican Festival as well as a guitar solo by club member, Erik Acevedo.
The event also recognized Pastor Benjamin Ocasio, who received the 2015 Hispanic Heritage Award.
