VIDEO: Scarecrows Take Over Downtown Millville

MILLVILLE - The program, Taking Back Millville is bringing the community together by hanging scarecrows all around town to help raise funds for a local teen drug abuse clinic.
The scarecrows are hanging on lamp posts along High Street. This is for a good cause, but it brings fun and fall festivity to the residents of Millville.
The idea was generated in the Facebook group, "Taking Back Millville." They started out hoping for 10 scarecrows and now have over four times their goal.
"I just love that the city gets on board, that everyone gets together, and you do something positive for the city and it boosts the morale for everybody," said Donna Miles, Founder of Taking Back Millville. "Obviously everybody wants to participate and I think it's really awesome for the people that get to come down and enjoy it. Basically, it's always a good thing when your community comes together and we can do something that everyone seems to like."
So far Taking Back Millville and its participants have raised over $300 for the local teen drug abuse clinic.
