The Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee Announces First Annual Scarecrow Contest

PITTSGROVE TOWNSHIP – The Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee has announced that its First Annual Scarecrow Creation and Contest will take place on Saturday, October 10th at 2:00 p.m.
Contestants are welcome to create their scarecrows in order to be displayed throughout the “Terror in the Timber” event. Wooden structures will be provided and contestants are welcome to choose their spot based on availability.
The scarecrows will be judged at 4:00 p.m. and prizes will be awarded to first and second place winners.
Reservations to this event are required by Friday, October 9th via email at parvinvolunteers@gmail.com.
