Shore Medical Center Announces October Guardian Angel Award Recipient

SOMERS POINT – Shore Medical Center has recognized RN, Ben D’Aulerio, as its Guardian Angel for the month of October.
D’Aulerio, who was chosen for providing exceptional care to Shore’s patients, joined Shore Medical Center in October of 2004 and has been a recipient of the award on multiple occasions. During his time there, D’Aulerio has served in many capacities including Nurse’s Aide, Transporter, and more recently, a Critical Care Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit.
“Ben is very deserving of this award and a true asset not only to the ICU but the entire Shore community,” said Luanne McGroarty BSN RN-BC, Nurse Manager of 5th Stainton and ICU. “Feedback from patients and families he cares for is always so positive. Ben's co-workers describe him as a team player, caring, compassionate and always willing to go the extra mile for his patients and co-workers. Most recently, Ben was the recipient of a generous monetary gift from a patient. In typical Ben fashion, he asked that the money be donated to the Maternity department.”
