MILLVILLE - NJ Transit customers should expect to start paying about nine percent more each month. The rate hike goes into effect today, Thursday, October 1st. All bus and rail fares will go up, but no more than 9.4 percent. It was approved by the NJ Transit Board this past July. They're using the increased fees to help close the 56 million dollar gap in their 2016 budget. To learn more about NJ Transit, visit their website at http://www.njtransit.com.
