Inspira Nurse Selected as Recipient of the Nursing Excellence GEM Award

MULLICA HILL - Every year receives hundreds of nominations for the Nursing Excellence GEM Award. This prestigious award honors six recipients, all selected based off of contributions made to their field. 27 year veteran Emily Turnure was one of the six selected by as a 2015 recipient.
As an M.S.N., R.N., administrative director of Education and Accreditation at Inspira Health Network, Turnure is an accomplished member of the staff, having piloted several accreditation processes for the organization.
Turnure led Inspira during the process of becoming the first health care system in New Jersey to receive ISO 9001:2008 certification from DNV healthcare, for achieving quality objectives based on international standards, and has supported the organization in hiring nurses that hold a Bachelor's degree or higher.
Turnure is the third Inspira nurse to receive the recognition in the past six years. Previous Inspira recipients include Michele Zucconi, M.S.N., R.N. (2012, Staff and Patient Management category) and Patricia Heslop, M.S.N., R.N. (2009, Teaching category).
