Cumberland County Library to Offer 3D Printing Service

BRIDGETON - On Monday September 28th the Cumberland County Library will begin offering a new 3D printing service for the public.
The library’s printer is a Cubify 3rd generation Cube with a 6” x 6” x 6” printing space. The library is hoping to offer a wide variety of color options starting with black, neon green, and pale yellow. This technology offering will be a first for public libraries in Cumberland County.
For the moment, the 3D print service will be managed by the library's staff. Print designs should be limited to those that can fit in the 6” x 6” x 6” print space. Each print job will require a three dollar deposit plus additional fees past the first hour. Print jobs will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. A project’s completion could take up to several days. 3D Printer policies will be available upon request at the library.
Cumberland County Library is located at 800 East Commerce Street.
