Vineland to Host POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony

VINELAND - The POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony will be held Friday, September 18th at 12:00 p.m. on the steps of City Hall at 7th and Wood Streets in Vineland.
The day was established by an act of congress in 1998. It is observed on the 3rd Friday in September. It is one of six days the POW/MIA flag can be flown. The other days it can be flown are Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day.
Join Mayor Bermudez, members of the Vineland Police, Fire, Emergency Medical Services, and invited guests to remember our missing soldiers, and those held as prisoners of war.
