Special Olympics to Host the Beach Bump Volleyball Tournament

ATLANTIC CITY - The Special Olympics New Jersey will host the 5th Annual Beach Bump Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, September 12th.
This event is a sand volleyball tournament fundraiser in front of Resorts Casino & Hotel at Boardwalk and North Carolina Avenue. This year, the tournament is expected to raise more than $20,000, all of which will benefit the athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey. This is event is supported by Atlantic City Electric and Princeton Partners.
Players can choose to play in either a competitive, recreation or Unified division, where Special Olympics athletes compete on a team with people who do not have intellectual disabilities. Teams may have up to 10 players. All games will be refereed. Medals will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place teams in each division. There are also incentive levels for teams who raise higher funds.
