Community Food Bank of NJ Will Prescreen for Food Stamp Eligibility

MILLVILLE - Staff from the Community Food Bank of New Jersey will be available at the Millville Public Library on Thursday, December 3rd.
The organization will prescreen attendees for food stamp eligibility during their visit in addition to assisting with online applications from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For those residents who already receive Food Stamps, the FoodBank’s staff cannot change the amount that is already being received during this event. Additionally, those approved for food stamp benefits will continue to receive pantries and food distribution resources.
Interested applicants must bring the following documents in order to apply for food stamps:

  • Identification (for everyone in the household)

  • Social Security Numbers (for everyone in the household )

  • Utility Bills (gas, electric, oil, water, and telephone)

  • Rent Receipt /Agreement or Mortgage Statements and/or Tax Bill

  • Proof of Income (for everyone on the household)

  • Medical Expenses – Only if you are 60 and older and/or disabled

  • Children’s Day Care expenses
